Terms and Conditions
  1. All dogs must wear a collar or harness with an identity tag showing the client’s contact details.

  2. From April 2016 by law all dogs must be micro-chipped, please ensure yours is.

  3. The client will provide all leads/harnesses, any toys/balls required, and a clean towel for wiping muddy paws.

  4. All dogs must have excellent recall, behave well in a group walk setting, and be sociable when interacting with all other dogs we may encounter on our walks

  5. Please advise Jo if your dog is unspayed or unneutered.

  6. All dogs must be fully vaccinated and be up to date with their flea and tick treatments.

  7. Clients must advise Jo of any health issues their dogs have or have had in the past.

  8. Please ensure you provide full details of your dog’s veterinary practice and emergency contact numbers.

  9. Jo will seek veterinary assistance should it be required for any dog whilst in Jo’s care, and the client accepts responsibility for any charges and/or costs related to this.

  10. Jo will not accept any dog that is on the British Banned Dogs list, or any dog that is unsocial or aggressive (to either dogs or humans) – dogs with mild socialisation issues may be accepted for on-lead solo walks – please discuss with Jo.

  11. The first week of walks will be a trial to ensure the client’s dog is compatible with Jo and any other dogs in the group.

  12. Start times of walks are approximate and may be moved earlier or later depending on Jo’s schedule that day.

  13. Your dog will be walked whatever the weather unless requested otherwise by you.

  14. In excessively hot weather, walks may be changed to a home visit to avoid your pet overheating and the risks involved.

  15. Jo will occasionally take photos and videos of your dogs and send them to you via Whatsapp or Facebook Messenger, they may also be used on Radyr Walkies' Facebook page, website, and other advertising pages. Please advise Jo if you do not want your dog's photos/videos to be used.

  16. The contract may be terminated at any time by Jo or the client.

Keys

 

Any keys and alarm codes must be given to Jo in advance if required to enter your property. Appropriate discretion/care will be used upon entry and exit, and all keys will be kept secure until the contract is terminated. After which all keys will be returned and alarm codes destroyed (if applicable).

 

Payment

 

Please note walks are to be paid for in advance or on the day.  Jo accepts cash, or can be paid by direct bank transfer.

 

Cancellations


Cancellations by the client are required to be made as soon as possible via telephone, text, or email directly to Jo, any bookings cancelled less than 12 hours in advance will incur the full cost of the booking.  In the unlikely event that Jo should have to cancel a booking this will be done ASAP via the contact telephone numbers provided by the client.

 

Holidays

 

Group walk clients may take as many holidays as they like and not pay anything whilst they are not using Jo's services.

 

For dogs that have regular solo walks - full price must be payed for any holidays that are over 2 weeks (10 working days) in duration in order to maintain your dog’s regular time slot.

 

Jo will advise in advance with as much notice as possible of any dates she will not be working due to holidays or for any other reason.

Jo does not work on weekends or bank holidays.
